About Me

Hi, my name is Kasota. I have always loved STEM. The Hobart Rivulet has been a large part of my childhood. It sits behind the primary school I attended and is where I walked my dog as a child. After graduating in 2023, I was inspired to create The STEM Adventure so that more children could connect with the nature and animals of the Hobart Rivulet.

I invite you to visit the rivulet many times, looking for the animals and plants that live there while learning more about the science found in nature. There are many plants, insects, animals, and aquatic life that reside in the Hobart Rivulet, so this adventure will grow with time.

If you find some that aren’t currently on this adventure, please take a photo and send me an email at hobartrivuletstemadventure@gmail.com

I hope you enjoy the science of the natural world as much as I do.

“Nature is a tool to get children to experience not just the wider world, but themselves.”
